Rustic Furniture – from Grandfather’s Log Cabin to My City Home

I remember the days of my youth when I would go and visit my grandfather's log cabin from the forest, with scarcely a neighbor in site, except perhaps a squirrel or a porcupine. The drive up the winding road to his cabin on it was not too boring, because I knew what a treasure is waiting at the end of the road lay.

When the cab finally grandfather would come into view, I would respect him simplicity and beauty. Perhaps some people think these days would be that itwas a dump, but it was really nice – in a simple, rustic manner.

It was not outside the cabin, but that I loved – it was the inside. Even after he had for a year or longer and if the whole cabin would be filled with dust and insects, I would immediately feel at home. Grandfather cooked all our meals on a heated oven, which even in our small two-room log cabin. It was, of course, the no bathroom talk, but I've never minded the walk to the toilet … as long as someone came to me.

I think it is because of the beautiful, happy and comfortable time that I spent in the cabin, my grandfather, thatI love rustic furniture now so. My house is not entirely covered in rustic furniture (although I would love it if it is), but I have a few pieces here and there truly is my home feel like home.

However, there is a room in the house that is completely rustic – my daughter in the room, and although she is young, she loves it. I wanted them to grow with the happy feeling that if I felt that my grandfather went to sign up booth. In fact, some of the furnitureSusy is in the room from the old cottage – when his grandfather died, we had to sell our special home away from home.

Susy's whole room seems to be made of wood. We even have an old, rustic, wooden rocking horse.
